Dan Cabela visits the White House to discuss conservation

White House Roundatble

We've got some BIG news...

Last Thursday, our Executive Director, Dan Cabela, was invited to the White House for an Outdoor Recreation and Conservation roundtable, hosted by Secretary Burgum.

Invitees were from a wide-range of major NGOs spanning the outdoor industry and conservation space. The meeting highlighted both challenges and opportunities facing outdoor recreation and conservation today. Dan was given the floor to speak to the storytelling aspect of what we do with our television series "Hard Truths of Conservation", and why it's so important to own the narrative around the future of hunting, fishing, and conservation.

Our family foundation was the only one of its type invited, a testament to the ever-lasting legacy of what Dick and Mary Cabela started 25 years ago.

Here's to continuing the conversation with other passionate organizations and making meaningful change for the future of wildlife conservation.
