This Saturday, September 26th, is National Hunting and Fishing Day! And to celebrate, our partners at Waypoint TV have planned something pretty special! Starting at 1:00 PM Eastern, and running nonstop until 5:00 PM Eastern, catch eight episodes of Hard Truths of Conservation back-to-back.
It's four hours of some of our best conservation stories from around the world on a very special day for outdoorsmen and women. National Hunting and Fishing Day provides and opportunity to recognize the longstanding traditions of hunting and fishing, while highlighting the conservation efforts which help protect those traditions for generations to come.
We are honored for this opportunity because "Hard Truths of Conservation” bridges the critical gap between public perception and the realities of modern wildlife management by highlighting the indispensable role of hunting in a functional, conservation landscape. By documenting the intersection of habitat preservation, population control, and funding for biodiversity, the series challenges conventional narratives and demonstrates how ethical, regulated hunting acts as a powerful tool for ecosystem health.
