Collaring North America’s Biggest Predator
This week on Hard Truths of Conservation, join Dan Cabela as he travels to Kodiak, AK and takes a closer look at North America’s largest predator, the brown bear. Often misunderstood, brown bears are one the most-formidable predators on the planet, but there’s still so much we don’t know about them. Dan joins researchers and biologists from Alaska Fish and Game, as well as our partners at IOTR for some field work collaring these incredible giants. The goal is to better understand predator-prey interactions, especially with the bison of Sitkalidak Island.
